Wootton Highway Board was formed in 1864 to takeover the responsibility of maintaining the highways from the parish vestry. It was abolished in 1894 when the newly formed Woodstock Rural District Council (RDC13) took over this responsibility.

Middle Aston, North Aston, Steeple Aston, Great Barford, Steeple Barton, Westcot Barton, Begbroke, Bladon, Cassington, Clifton, Combe, Deddington, Duns Tew, Glympton, Gosford, Hempton, Hensington, Kiddington, Kidlington, Rousham, Sandford, South Newington, Shipton on Cherwell, Stonesfield, Tackley and Wighthill, Thrupp, Great Tew, Litte Tew, Water Eaton, Wovercote, Wootton, Nether Worton, Over Worton and Yarnton.
