Papers assembled by A A M Lumsdaine c. 1960-1970, and reorganised on a chronological or subject basis, and generously interspersed with his own notes and correspondence. As the original order has been lost, Lumsdaine's arrangement has been retained, and no attempt has been made to extract the original records from the accompanying notes. Originally in a ring-binder with the title 'Royal Monmouthshire R.E. Militia. British Expeditionary Force 1914-1919' (Binder removed for conservation reasons)
