Ms register of cases attended by S. Tarrant during her time practicing as a district midwife in Nottingham (17 April 1956-20 March 1957), including the name, address and age of each patient, as well as the number of previous labours and miscarriages, the date and hour of her arrival, the presentation of the infant on birth, the date and hour of the birth, the sex and whether the child was born living or dead, whether the child was premature, the name of the doctor if called, if there were any complications during or after labour, the date of her last visit, the condition of the mother and child on her last visit and then any further remarks, such as the types and mounts of drugs administered to patients during and after labour.
