Ms register of cases, completed by Florence Tucker, midwife at Brooklands Nursing Home in Chelmsford, Essex (31 October 1939-21 February 1948), recording the name, age, address and pregnancy history of each patient that she attended in childbirth, as well as the date and hour of her arrival, the presentation of the infant on birth, the date and hour of the birth of the child, the sex of the child, whether the child was born living or dead, whether the child was premature, the name of the doctor if called, whether there were any complications during labour, the condition of the mother and child, as well as any further remarks, such as whether any drugs were administered during labour.
