Scope and Content

Manuscript letter: Following on from the previous letter and the presumed acceptance by Owen to open the new Hall of Science, Thornton asks how long he intends to stay with them. There is the intention of having a festival on Christmas Day and it is hoped that Owen will be the guest of honour.

Thornton requests confirmation on how many lectures Owen intends to give on the opening day of the Hall of Science, and whether he wishes to give further lectures whilst staying in Bradford.
