Letter from James Rigby to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Rigby provides Owen with an update of the progress he has made with tasks carried out on Owen's behalf. This includes arranging for subscription to the Illustrated London News and posting a number of newspapers to Owen.

Rigby notes the arrival [in London] of the King of Sardina, he did not see him, but the whole of his office turned out to receive him. Baron Corvaja is also back in England.
