Letter from James Rigby to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Rigby provides Owen with a brief update of the progress he has made with tasks carried out on Owen's behalf. A meeting which Owen requested cannot be called as most of those Owen would like present are out of town, the letter Owen was waiting for from Rigby was not forthcoming as Rigby was waiting for Owen to visit town [London] as he had intimated and Baume and Atkins are "not quite so much in unity as they were" following some misunderstandings.
