Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Newman writes that he is very positive on the point that "one grain of moral strength is worth ten hundred weight of any thing else, in our undertaking". Newman makes further pleas that those who wish to bring about the "New System" should be consolidated together so that they can gain "moral strength".
