Goupy says he has informed the Emperor [Louis Napoleon] about Owen's conversion to the Immortatlity of Souls. He believes his conversion will make things easier for him.
Goupy complains of the people that the Emperor allows to influence him.
Goupy concludes by saying that he has not received all of Owen's journals and requests that he send him the ones he does not have.
