Scope and Content

Fisher writes this manuscript letter from his position of Secretary of an Association based in Bristol. The association was established to acquire a knowledge of human nature and the present state of Society. Fisher explains to Owen that the Association wishes to circulate copies of the New Moral World, but are experiencing difficulties in obtaining both those and other papers and, as a result, intend to open an agency in Bristol to sell them; Owen is asked to deliver one or two lectures for the Association members.
