Letter from Vincent Cooke to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Two manuscript letters: the first refers to Owen being "occupied" with the Government for a scheme for the relief of Ireland; thanks Owen for supplying him with some American newspapers and urges Owen to continue with is work as "the whole world" is his workshop and there is still much to do.

The second letter is written as a introduction to Owen for James Price, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London, who is the nephew of Cooke's wife's and wishes to shake Owen's hand.
