Letter from S. Vieusseux to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter: Vieusseux begins the letter by listing the people and various organizations that he sent copies of issues 1 to 8 of Owen's journal. He then asks Owen to send him numerous copies of issues 9 to 13 in order to forward them to interested parties. Vieusseux also recounts the remarks from one of the individuals whom was forwarded one of Owen's journals.

Vieusseux discusses a potential Catholic conspiracy that intends to take over Britain, spearheaded by Catholic "despots" on the Continent and their "puppet," the Pope.
