Letter from John Scott to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter in which Scott says he encloses a chapter which talks about the same subject Owen is interested in, 'the progress of man's development'. He talks of a Dr A Combe who died in 1847 who wishes Owen to share some of these ideas at his Congress, where the spirits would impress members to approve of these ideas.

He says he will be in London the following week and hopes to see Owen, but he also has meetings of his own in which he wishes to introduce the subject of spirit teaching to the city of London.
