Letter from William Pare to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter written on the rear of a circular announcing the retirement of Mr. Edward Finch from his position as senior Partner with the Irish Engineering Company and of his replacements being Thomas B. Daft and John Clement Pare, the son of William.

In the letter, Pare writes that he read part 8 of The New Existence of Man Upon Earth and proceeds to question its contents, particularly in regard to Owen's inclination to believe in a "personal deity".
