Letter from Robert Owen to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter which Owens begins by saying that he regrets that Mr Atkins did not succeed [with the Panorama] but he believes that someone who understands how to manage such business will make a great fortune.

Owen goes on to say he has sent two spiritual papers to Dr Travis which Rigby should look at. He intends to send them to his children.

Owen concludes by saying that he wishes Mr Randoplh could find a useful occupation in lecturing.
