Letter from James Hole to James Rigby

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter informing Rigby that he regrets not been able attend the meeting with himself and Conningham as he is very keen on the setting up of a Co-operative League. Hole outlines the nature he believes the Co-operative League should take. He forwards Rigby a report of the Yorkshire Union of Mechanics Institute noting it much inferior representation of what should be done for association.

Hole closes the letter by noting that James Rigby taught practical geometry to him 20 years ago at the Salford School.
