Minutes of the Committee meetings. Matters discussed in the committee minutes include ordering and price of stock, alterations to and purchase of property, employment and management of staff, new members, use of Society premises, complaints, social events, finances, nomination of persons to attend other meetings, reports and the general management of the society. From 19 Apr 1902 the Committee meetings are referred to as Board meetings.
The dates of the early minute books overlap and some contain minutes of the Quarterly and Monthly meetings. From 1892-1949 the minute books contain minutes of Quarterly meetings. From 1949-1969 the minute books include minutes of sub-committee meetings. MID/1/2/2/2/1/1/50 includes the Derby and Burton Co-operative Society minutes.
The monthly meetings are meetings attended by members. The quarterly meetings concern the quarterly report and balance sheets, financial matters and election of officers.
