This subseries consists of records created by the Hawick and Jedburgh Co-operative Society including photographs.

Administrative / Biographical History

In 1968 the individual Hawick, and Jedburgh, Co-operative Societies merged to form one large Co-operative Society, which had over 10,000 members. The Society traded for 16 years before merging with Border Co-operative Society, and Selkirk and Kelso Co-operative Society to form the Central Borders Co-operative Society in 1984.
