This file contains three photographic items. The first, shows three men standing on the exterior stairs of an East African Airways plane, the verso is marked for publication. The second, was taken at Dar-es-Salaam Independence Day, 9 Dec 1961, exhibition opening [Tanganyika 1961]. It shows the Minister for Agriculture, Paul Bomani, being given a copy of The Co-operative Movement in Tanganyika from the Victoria Federation of Co-operative Unions 'Queen of Co-operation'. The third, shows the Victoria Federation of Co-operative Unions 'Queen of Co-operation' and her 'coffee girls' giving a packet of co-operative coffee beans to Sir Richard Turnball, Governor-General of Tanganyika to mark Tanganyikan independence.
