Mayor and Mayoress

This file contains two photographs. The first, shows the Mayor stood behind a desk and microphone, making a speech. The ceremonial chains are clearly visible around his neck, while in his hand he is holding a "Co-operative Information" leaflet. In the second, the Mayoress is seen receiving a bouquet of flowers from another lady. They are stood at the rear of a desk which has a microphone on top of it. Black and white.
