The records include documents outlining educational schemes on the political work of the movement, leaflets and correspondence relating to the general elections, circulars relating to Party policies, documents relating to the proposed Co-operative Index Number, newspaper cuttings and discussion documents. There are also leaflets relating to the Co-operative Party Candidates William Horsley (Prestwich), W H Brown (Mossley), T W Mercer (Moss Side), William M Cornes (Holyrood), Mr John Downie (Dumfriesshire), Robert Gunn (East Perthshire)and Tom Myers (Stretford).
