Scope and Content

Item is in an envelope postmarked 1953 and addressed to Alexander in 'West Mersea' from the Earl Marshal's Office. The programme contains details of the menu, music, toasts and guest list, including the Prince of Wales. Also included are loose newspaper cuttings covering the Prince's trip to the Co-operative Wholesale Society's warehouses prior to the luncheon.
