Letter from Stevens which acts as an introduction to the manuscript of Notes which he has sent in a separate envelope (See WST/2/1). The final layout is described in detail with relation to numbering; he has taken Blackmur's book into consideration, but prefers a lighter binding and alternative borders. In response: Frazier gives thanks for the manuscript and reassures Stevens that the publication will pose no interferences with Knopf; Cummington have chosen cream or yellow for the cover and will remain in touch with him regarding alterations; passages from Soldier there is a war will make an excellent border as they call attention to "the integrity of the given word". She considers the costs of electrotype plate and binding fees. Cummington will gladly send Stevens a copy on hand-made paper.
