Papers relating to the appointment of Bruce Rodda Williams (1919-2010) as Robert Ottley professor of economics, John Johnston (1923-2003) as professor of econometrics and Charles Carter (1920-2002) as professor of political economy. Williams succeeded Carter as Jevons professor of political economy in 1963, and resigned this post in 1967. Johnston was professor until 1978.
