Correspondence and papers relating to loyal addresses presented to various members of the Royal Family by the University. These include: the visit of Edward VII and Queen Alexandra to the University, 13 July 1905 and 6 July 1909; the accession of George V in 1910, the silver jubilee of George V in 1935 and the death of George V in 1936; the accession of Edward VIII in 1936; the accession of George VI (presented in 1937); the silver jubilee of Elizabeth II in 1977; and the eightieth birthday of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother in 1980. In most cases, a printed copy of the address is included.
