Scope and Content

From C. Wallace to F. Baker. He sends his condolences on the death of Mr. Dean and asks Baker to pass them on to Mrs. Dean. Mr. Ashton visited him on Tuesday and he had a cold. He informs Baker that Mrs.[Tillingham?] died of a tumour in the throat, and that she was very unkind to [Mr. Tillingham?] not leaving him anything or mentioning him in her will. His wife and sister called on Mr. Worthington where they saw Alfred Worthington.

Dated at Hale Lodge.
