Scope and Content

The file contains the Principal's notes on meetings and conversations relating to a variety of topics. These include, for example, conversations relating to the proposed Chair of Electrical Engineering and a discussion with the Director of Research and Deputy Chairman of Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI). Other papers relate to the Principal's visit to Germany in 1956 and a visit from a UGC representative of the Technological Sub-Committee in the same year.
