This letter written on a small notelet sheet by Arthur to his parents is brief, five lines only, Arthur explains that he wasn't sure whether he had written a letter to them, but will write a much longer letter in a few day's time. He thanks them for their letter of the 11th January and also to say his parcel from his Grandmother arrived safely.
