Scope and Content

From Miss M.E. Atmore in 28 Bread Street, [London?] to an unnamed correspondent. She has beenrequested by her mother [Harriet] to acknowledge the note of the 12th.

They are about to move from their present residence. When they are settled and able to look overher father’s papers, she will be pleased to send one of his letters if any are left.

Her mother would also be obliged by the letter of [Jabez]Bunting which their correspondentmentioned returning to the family. ’Most deeply do we regret the confidence placed in Mr [JohnSundius]Stamp . My dear father’s papers were all given into his hands to draw up the memorialwhich appeared in the Wesleyan Magazine of 1845,and we were not aware of any being obstructed.

Your note has given us much pain, as we were informed by the Revd. Mr Stamp that the Conferencehad bought in all the papers ’
