Scope and Content

From Port Stuart, Ireland, to Mary Clarke at Haydon Hall, Middlesex, giving a detailed account of his passage by steam vessel from Liverpool to Belfast, where he was entertained overnight by Mr. Tobias, before continuing to Coleraine and Port Stuart.

He is staying with Mr. Cromie not far from where he was raised, and he describes his pleasure at visiting his childhood haunts.

Reference is made to his conversion experience.

He is to preach the missionary sermon at Coleraine the following morning, and Everett will preach in the evening.

He hopes that Mary's children are feeling better.
