Scope and Content

The stamp of the Radford Library, Saint Mary's Hospital, Manchester is evident on some pages, and the volume was allocated the reference Q 149 viz. their 1877 library catalogue. It has since been given the reference M6 H5 as part of an alternative system. The label of R & J Gleave, Stationers & Printers, 101 Deansgate, Manchester, can be found on the inside of the front cover. This is volume 2 of 2 and follows on from where volume 1 [ MMM/14/2/5/2 ] left off. Unlike volume 1 there is no page numbering, the writing is on the recto only throughout, and ff.130-149 are blank.
