The volume contains minutes of regular and special meetings of the Society's Council, annual general meetings and special general meetings. The minutes follow the same format as MBH2/1/5 above. There are numerous enclosures pasted-in, including letters, annual reports of Council, notices of annual general meetings and special meetings, voting forms, rules of the Society. There is also correspondence concerning royal patronage (1935-1936), donations to Manchester Grammar School and Manchester University, and the trust status of the Society.
