From D. Whitmore in Cotsbrook to Mary Tooth. She would be grateful for Tooth's acceptance from the bearer of the enclosed £1 donation for the Benevolent Society. Whitmore was sorry to hear that Tooth has been unwell, but hopes that the fine weather this month may aid her recovery. Whitmore is not feeling strong herself and one of the servants is in a very poor condition. In a postscript, she mentions that her sister Katherine is visiting Worcestershire and that sister Mary is much the same as usual
