From Salop [Shrewsbury] to Mary Tooth at Madeley. Some time ago, Tooth was kind enough to let Brocas have a few lines of [John] Wesley's handwriting, which piece is now highly valued by the friend to whom he presented it.
Mr Bickerton Williams (a descendent of Matthew Henry) of this town, has asked Brocas if he could possibly get a Wesley manuscript for him too.
If Tooth could possibly comply with this request, both Brocas and Williams would be most obliged.
Brocas would have liked to have made this request in person but is always very busy when in Tooth's neighbourhood.
