Scope and Content

Correspondence between Wilkinson and the Medical Research Council, namely Dr F.H.K. Green and Dr Arthur Landsborough Thomson, concerning the continuing trials of Pentnucleotide in cases of agranulocytosis, the therapeutic value of suprarenal cortical extracts and supplies of Cortin, the extension of the grant for the continued assistance of Dr Louis Klein, grants for clerical assistance, additional biochemical assistance and the subsequent employment of Dr Charles A. Ashford, grant for an assistant pathologist and the subsequent employment of Dr G.S. Smith, the liver extract testing scheme, and the annual report. The report outlines the different work being undertaken by Wilkinson and his team and in applying for the extension of the grant for Klein's assistance explains how they intend to proceed with their work.
