Correspondence between Wilkinson and the Medical Research Council, namely F.J.C. Herrald and Kenneth M. A. Perry, concerning grant for expenses and the work that will be developed in the coming year, war report (including a full report of work undertaken during the war years), and the reading of a paper to the Experimental Medicine Section of the Royal Society of Medicine. The report sets out the subjects of research for the department during the war years as being the anti-anaemic principles in liver and stomach, blood transfusion and blood products, clinical and laboratory investigations on the diagnosis, classification and treatment of blood diseases, porphyrin metabolism, lead intoxication, Addison's disease, hyperthyroidism, calcinosis universalis, salicyles and hypoprothrombinaemia, and miscellaneous endocrine. The report also provides a list of grants received and all the collaborating members of staff as well as a list of papers published as a result of the work.
