Notes on disinfectants, antiseptics, preservatives, and insecticides originating from Wilkinson's time as a student, although as they are not properly dated or titled it is not entirely clear which part of his studies they originate from. Some of the journal extracts in the file are dated to 1923/4 at which point he was studying for his Ph.D.
The notes seem to consist largely of bibliographic information relating to the different subject areas. There are several extracts from The Clinical Trade Journal and Chemical Engineer relating to ammonium polysulphide fungicides, the manufacture of antimony fluoride, insecticides & fluorides, rendering textiles mothproof, and sodium fluosilicate all seemingly from c.1923-4.
