Draft note discussing the differences between the sense of vision in man and animals. Eyes for most vertebrates concerned with appreciation of movement, but some animals have appreciation of colour, and the form and position of objects. in case of primates extends to three dimensional appreciation, which form essential attributes of man's aesthetic sense.
