Scope and Content

From [R.F. Hunter] to James Grant Lumsden. The writer describes an expedition he has undertaken with a companion from Zanzibar into the interior of the African mainland. They hope to return in June. Describes Zanzibar as "a foul hole and few constitutions could stand it more than 2 years". The interior is healthy but populated by cannibals.
