The bundle contains papers relating to the tenancy by James Holt and his brothers of the brickfield adjacent to Woodhouse Lane and the Bridgewater Canal at Oldfield in Dunham Massey. The land was retaken by Lord Stamford from the tenant of the land, Mrs Pennington, and a new tenancy agreement drawn up with James Holt.
