He refers to his eclipse poem going into theStatesmanand mentions that Anthony Thwaite, the editor, may send him some reviewing. It was Thwaite who produced an eight week series for the BBC with recordings from The Preludein which Nicholson read for the third. He refers to Yvonne going to Bootle and himself going to Whitehaven and mentions that Robin Skelton at Victoria, British Columbia had sent him a university magazine containing a batch of [John] Clare's unpublished poems.
