Scope and Content

Letter to David thanking and congratulating him for the Penguin anthology. Nicholson debates the contents of David's book and makes references to Calvinism and Wordsworth. He explains that he had a disappointing Christmas because he had been ill with flu followed by bronchitis, however, shortly after recovery both he and his wife became ill with atummy germ. Consequently, he explains, that he had to re-schedule a contribution to BBC TV's Meeting Pointwhich will now be shown on 3 March. He concludes the letter, in his own handwriting, by referring to an article in an astronomy journal in which Coleridge saw the rings round the moon.

Mainly typescript with autograph however, includes one page and a half in Nicholson's own handwriting.
