Scope and Content

To John Wesley at the Foundery in London, re his spiritual strength, which has raised him above the worries of this world.

She and many others would be greatly encouraged to see him, and she has no doubt that many would be brought to God, if John were to make a personal visit.

Westley Hall has not authorised her to recieve any money from his property, and she would be grateful if he could write to him about it.

She has been much distressed by her childes sickness.

30 Dec 1747 On the reverse of this document is a letter from Elizabeth Greenaway to John Wesley, re spiritual matters and asking his pardon for her earlier criticism of him, which she now remembers with shame.
