Haynes, Edmund Sidney Pollock, (1877-1949)

A Balliol Scholar who befriended Edward Thomas at Oxford, and was later to act as his solicitor.

He was also godfather to Helen and Edward's first child, Merfyn.

Published his memories of Edward in 'The English Review', XXIV, no. 6 in June 1917, also in a book of collected essays, 'Personalia' (1918).
