Scope and Content

Letter sent from Graz, Austria. Wickenburg regrets that he and Morse didn't meet in Montegrotto. He's trying to master a new artistic technique - moving without assistance. He doesn't know how long it will be until he can climb stairs and walk along the street. He already has new contracts for stain-glass windows, since he needs them to help him pay for his operation. He's rereading Boswell's 'Life of Johnson', and saw miniatures of Mr and Mrs Thrale in The London News. (Perhaps The Illustrated London News.)
