The archive contains a miscellaneous collection of manuscripts, notebooks, notes and papers from the 18th and 19th centuries, some documents are in English, others in Welsh. The collection has three notebooks of poetry, including that of Hugh Cadwalader of Braich Bedw, Llanfachreth, dated 1766 and 1770 (Welsh). Also in the collection are sermons and notes on sermons mostly preached in Wales in the early 19th century, but also at Chester (Welsh and English). A manuscript (possibly 18th century) relates the succession of Earls of Pembroke down to the 3rd Earl (1630).
