Scope and Content

Material related to the ESA Ulysses mission. In 1990 the spacecraft Ulysses was launched on a deep space mission to study the heliosphere, the region of space influenced by the sun and its magnetic field. The material includes a promotional VHS tape of the mission and a prototype poster about the Ulysses space probe and its mission. Diagrams and nonsense text are used to illustrate the layout of the poster. The nonsense text "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit..." is used to create a natural looking block of text that doesn't distract from the layout. The material also includes a completed version of the poster written in both English and French, with updated diagrams and a newsletter from the ESA giving an update on the spacecraft.
