One article contains Mallalieu's account of a flood that took place in bad weather on Monday 29 May 1944 at Holme, the article was written in Portsmouth .The second article concerns JPW Mallalieu's reflections upon a speech that Edward Rosslyn Mitchell MP made in the House of Commons on 15 Dec 1927 opposing the introduction of a new prayer book.
