She has been reminded of her friend on hearing of the execution of the unfortunate Roussel [Roussel was one of those who took a leading part in the Commune insurrection in Paris of 1871 and was executed with many others by the Thiers Government]; as the world is made poorer by the loss of such a man so she is driven to think of those who remain and her thoughts go to her friend. Lina after a set back is better; she asks if you will grant a request and a photograph of Rousel which is difficult to find in Paris. Sends messages to the family.
