Since receiving Mrs Harvey's letter she has decided to abandon the idea of going to Leeds on 1 Mar as she does not wish to enter into any controversy with Mrs H. or any of her fellow workers. She deplores Lady Henry Somerset's actions since resigning her post as President although the Society earnestly desired to retain her, and fears that unity of action on the BWTA is threatened by their Manifesto controversy.
